In Memory of Adele 3578

Adele 3578 came to NBGR with a group of 16 dogs from a puppy mill bust in August 2019.  Adele was probably the most emotionally damaged of the 16 dogs and she spent almost 4 years in her foster home and then she was adopted by a wonderful previous NBGR adopter who had experience with mill dogs.  We were so very happy for this sweet girl.  Her new mom has been working hard to bring her out of her shell – but sadly Adele’s health declined suddenly and quickly.  Adele was laid to rest on 12/4/23 four years and four months after she left the puppy mill.

We believe Adele was about 10 years old when she died.  She was the fifth one of the group of 16 to have died before it was time over the last 4 years.  These dogs lived very hard lives until they were freed in August 2019.  We feel sure they were fed the cheapest food available and never had medical care – and that treatment took its toll on them in their later lives.  Please don’t buy from pet stores/puppy mills.

Adele – your foster mom and your furever mom miss you and love you forever. RIP and run free sweet Adele.
